Arriving at Prom
Dropping Off
For drop-offs, including limousines, parent chauffeurs, horse-drawn carriages, time machines, or any other vehicle that is not being parked at the hotel, follow the RED LINES on the map shown above to the location marked with the RED STAR on the map – this will allow smooth traffic flow at the west side of the hotel/convention center on Avenue of the Stars.
In an effort to reduce congestion on Parkwood Blvd, starting at 4 pm on prom day when you turn west on John Q. Hammons Drive toward the hotel, you will not be able to enter hotel parking lot at the front entrance. Instead, Prom Staff will direct you around the hotel “block.” The red star on the map above is where students may be dropped off.
Garage Parking
For students who are driving to prom or riding with a group of other prom attendees, you will follow the BLUE LINE on the map to reach the parking garage. Please note that you will be coming north using the Dallas North Tollway service road to Gaylord in order to travel in the correct direction to enter the lot and enter the garage. *All onsite parking will be entered from the NORTH, so please do not try to enter at the main hotel entrance. The staff will be directing traffic around that entrance in order to avoid congestion in the hotel entrance.
If you plan to park in the garage, you’ll be able to enter from the entrance facing Gaylord Parkway. * Please have $10 in cash ready to pay for parking, as they will collect when you go in. The blue emblem on the map above indicates the garage entrance.
Students Only Inside the Hotel
Parents, please do not accompany your students into the hotel lobby if you can avoid doing so. The hotel has asked us to reduce the congestion in their lobby during prom check-in. Due to space constraints and security concerns, parents are not allowed to accompany their students into secure prom areas.
Please do not ask your student to return a camera or phone to you after they enter the hotel. It is difficult for us and for them to get out of line and then try to return said items. Thank you!

Photos
There are many beautiful backdrops in the City of Frisco to choose from for personal prom pictures, including several near the hotel. Unfortunately, due to space considerations, we ask that you do not plan to take photos of your students at the hotel.
