All meals served at prom are gluten-free and nut-free, except for the dinner rolls, which do contain gluten but are served separately in a bread basket. Our meals are also pork-free and shellfish-free. Allergies beyond these need to be discussed with our Special Meals Coordinator.
If you have medically required dietary restrictions, we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. At the time of ticket purchase, you will select from the Standard Meal, Dairy-Free Meal, or the Vegan/Vegetarian Meal. You’ll be able to read the description and make your selection at that time.
Please note that particular dietary requests/restrictions may incur higher costs to TxCHP which will need to be passed along to you. The Special Meals Coordinator will contact you with details if this applies to you.
In rare cases, the hotel may be unable to accommodate Special Meal requests. Our Special Meal Coordinator will discuss the options with you, if that involves bringing a meal from home.
A text box is provided during registration for you to explain any life-threatening allergies or concerns. Please also email the TxCHP Special Meals Coordinator to discuss any of these that are food-related.
Even if your situation is unlikely to be an issue at prom, we do provide the First Aid team with a list of potential issues so they can be prepared in case of an emergency.
