Eligibility to Attend
Eligible Students
Home-schooled students and University Model-schooled students are ELIGIBLE to purchase a Prom Ticket for themselves and a Companion Voucher for one alumnus or high school aged friend. All eligible students must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 14 and no older than 18 as of September 1 of this school year, and
- Be homeschooled or enrolled in a 2-3 day university model school and
- Be listed as a student on their own family’s TxCHP Registration, and
- Purchase a Student Ticket OR redeem a Companion Voucher which has been purchased by another student
- Have a family member complete the Family Service Credit for each Ticket and Companion Voucher purchased as per the Family Service Credit policy

Non-Eligible Students
Students who have graduated, are attending public school virtually, are attending a private school on a full-time basis, or are outside the age range as of September 1 of this school year are not Eligible purchasers.
Students in either of these situations may only redeem a Companion Voucher purchased by an Eligible Student. Read below for more details.

Companion Voucher Eligibility
Alumni (those who have graduated from high school are not eligible to purchase tickets, but may redeem a Companion Voucher purchased by an Eligible Student. Alumni must meet these criteria:
- Be no older than 20 on the Day of Prom, and
- Be listed as a student on their own family’s TxCHP Registration and
- Have a Companion Voucher (purchased by an Eligible Student) redeemed in their name, and
- Have the Family Service Credit completed as per the Family Service Credit policy (Policy link).
Non-homeschooled students (including those attending public school, virtual public school or 5- day private schools) are not eligible to purchase tickets, but may redeem a Companion Voucher purchased by an Eligible Student. Non-homeschooled students must meet these criteria:Be at least 14 as of September 1st of this school year, and
- Be no older than 20 on the Day of Prom, and
- Be listed as a student on their own family’s TxCHP Registration and
- Have a Companion Voucher (purchased by an Eligible Student) redeemed in their name, and
- Have the Family Service Credit completed as per the Family Service Credit policy (Policy link).
